I`ve tried tons of things.
I use ProActiv every night and morning.
I`ve used Clearasil 3-day Vanishing Cream,
and many other things, but nothing seems to clear my face.
Does anyone have a suggestion of what I could use that would clear my face up?Whats the best solution to clear acne?
Get a prescription cream from your doctor (the best method) hope this helps good luck!Whats the best solution to clear acne?
Clindamycin lotion.
real honey mixed with crushed oats! simple..
First put some honey into a bowl and heat it in the microwave for about 30 sec...or till it starts bubbling. Then with your fingers, crush the oats into the honey. Then Stir. Make sure you put enough oats..maybe until it is mostly oats that honey. Fell the ';treatment'; and when it is nice and warm and you think that your face can take that warmth apply it to your face and leave for 15 minutes. Then wash it off with warm water. Careful and don't get burned! Good Luck and hope I helped!
The products you are using, are they Salsylic Acid or Benzoyl peroxide? BP can be VERY drying. I personally like SA better. Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! Try finding a face lotion with SA in it. Clean and Clear has a good moisturizer with SA and it helps keep pimples at bay. It is only about $5 a bottle and lasts about 2 months and you can get it at your local store. I have used this in the past and it works well. Personally, I use Biore products (which you get over the counter. Their products range from $5-$10). They are harsh on pimples, but not on your face.
Personally, Proactive didn't work for me. I have been using Biore products for over a year and I hardly ever break out! Occasionally I will get one or two, but nothing bad. I use Biore Ice Cleanser for acne and Biore warming facial scrub every morning for blackheads (This stuff works. I notcied a DRASTIC diffrence in my blackeads being GONE within 2 weeks) . And then 3-4 day s a week I use Biore purging pore cream scrub. For body acne I use Neutrogena acne body wash I never break out on my body. It gets 110 in summer so sweat in inevitably, yet I never break out. Give it a try. All of it is cheap too. About $5-10 depending on what you buy! Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! I think you will just need to experiment with products until you find what works for you. Remember, it can take 1 month for products to fully begin working! Good Luck!
The one simplest thing that helped me was to changed my pillow case more often %26amp; sleep with my hair up out of my face.
Also..this may sound odd but if I have a zit that I need gone overnight I use toothpaste on it. Pat it on and let it try (just not the gel kind). It's not completely gone but much smaller and less red.
There is actually this new heat device product. I caught it on a paid program one night on t.v. It's like the ones dermatologist use except this device, you can keep at home once you buy it. How cool is that? : ) It's some device that attacks the acne at the source. I know what you mean when you say you've used tons of produtcs. I have too and none seem to do the trick fully. I'm thinking of getting this device sometime soon! Here's the link to it http://www.thermacleartv.com
best of luck to the both of us! ^_^
Well, I had really bad acne, and this worked for me... I only rinsed my face with water at night, nothing else. In the shower, I used neutrogena deep clean, it works quite well. I know many people on proactiv, myself included, never works. By using all those different products, your face tries to protect itself by creating more oils, which worsens the problem. Get one facewash and stick to it.
use toothpaste it apparently dries out spots or if they are quiet bad go to the doctors
The best thing is to go to your doctor or dermatologist and get a prescription acne cream. Prescription acne medicine usually works to change the skin so that you will no longer have an acne problem. Most over the counter treatments only work for as long as you keep using them if they work at all. My doctor prescribed me retin-a micro. my sister uses benzamycin and differin.
Most importantly, don't beat your skin up with too many products!! That will only make it retaliate and be more troublesome. Honestly was has worked for me has been controlling my hormones (birth control pills), getting older, and keeping my skin exfoliated with something with Glycolic acid in it. I use DDF 10% Glycolic acid toner and it's just awesome. But don't take my word for it, also check out reviews on acne skin care at www.makeupalley.com. I won't make a single purchase without consulting that website! Good luck and there is hope! :)
Soak your face in gasoline.
