I did something stupid and put Clear Care Cleaning & Disinfecting solution in my eye when it clearlysays not?

I was searching for a solutions in my cabnet and reached in without looking and grabbed my buddy's solution that says ';do not put in eye'; and boy did it burn and turn red. Majority of the redness is gone, theres just a little to the inner part of my eye now. I bought visine and am putting that in there every 4 hours. Will that be there permantetly? or will it eventually go away???I did something stupid and put Clear Care Cleaning %26amp; Disinfecting solution in my eye when it clearlysays not?
YOu should have flushed your eyes for a long time with water or straight saline. Please do not use any visine that has a ';get the red our'; vasoconstrictor. You sound like you are over the major part of it, but the corners of your eyes are dry and still red. Get some Lubricating eye drops that are like Tears, or Genteal, or something that is for dry eyes. If it does nto clear up go to the doctor. I use this stuff and I have done this myself, and I always am fine the next day. LORII did something stupid and put Clear Care Cleaning %26amp; Disinfecting solution in my eye when it clearlysays not?
I've done that before...accidents do happen. It did burn like crazy!! You should have rinsed with water prior to the Visine use, but you'll be okay. Just keep flushing your eye with the Visine, at least.
Did you deliberately put it in your eye? because that would be stupid...

anyway, i'd use the visine more often, say every 2-3 hours. and don't worry, its not permanent, it should be all cleared up in a day or two.

If its itchy, stingy, or causing you discomfort, head for the doctor.
It usually goes away in a couple weeks
Keep washing your eyes w/ water and continue using visine. The redness isn't permanent, it'll probably go away w/n couple of days. If pain continues or your vision gets blurry, then head to your optometrist as soon as you can.
