I was just wondering because the box of Clear Care solution comes with a new case for the contacts. If you use Clear Care as solution for contacts, do you have to change the case everytime you get a new bottle?
It's best to change the case every time you get new solution. There are microbes and bacteria that you can't get rid of just by washing your container. It is much healthier for your eyes if you practise this with every change of solution, no matter what kind you use. I use Complete and it comes with a new container in every box. It is also much healthier to use disposable contacts than it is to use the conventional type.If you use Clear Care as solution for contacts, do you have to change the case everytime you get a new bottle?
The disc in the case for Clear Care neutralizes the solution so you do have to change the case to keep the solution working effectively. It is a peroxide based system and the peroxide is neutralized by the disc. That is why the solution says to not put it directly in the eyes- it would cause a very bad burn if it wasn't neutralized.
